How did you get started ?
I started listening to Edge Club and buying 'Ardcore Breakbeat in 90-91. I then sold my Michael Jordan rookie card in '92 and bought some turntables. A year later I had saved enough money to buy the Roland W-30 Sampling Workstation. If that beast was good enough for the Prodigy and "Charly" it was good enough for me. Although, it was a hard keyboard to learn how to use.

Who inspires you musically and why?
The Wikiddrama MC. The MC Pibb! We really push each other and build off each other's energy when performing. Serious Intensity. Back and forth. And we have fun too. Our sets are intense but we are smiling, laughing, playing jokes on each other and the crowd is smiling too. Everyone ends up having fun. Its an experience. :)

How much have you changed musically since you started?
Same hard as nails beats and bass but I'm working with other artists much more now. I used to be more of a solo artist and performer. I perform with MC Pibb every week and I have a couple of other production and performance projects involving other artists that I can't disclose yet. Lots of things are in the works!

In addition, I'm doing more than my dj sets of Drum n Bass. I also spin 2step Garage and Old Skool Ardcore Breakbeat and perform Live PAs of either Drum n Bass or 2step Garage. I do all of these regularly. It keeps me busy. I just spun the 90-92 Ardcore Breakbeat in Massachusetts in February. The DnB, Garage, and 'Ardcore sounds all came from the same family so my progression to those sounds makes sense.

Mundo "Devast-8", absolutely throbbing 2step-breakbeat hybrid track.

What do you think of the current state of the Dallas Scene?
Aside from the venue problems, I really like the Dallas Scene. Lots of events EVERY week. New promoters join the ranks every year. A fresh influx of kids pop up every year at events. Dallas is very fortunate. Few cities have the quantity of events that we do. I'm happy to be here.

When is your next gig?
March 24 in Denver, Colorado with MC Pibb. Tray Stylz will be there as well.
