What kind of music can we expect to hear from you two?
CY - The variety of music we play is growing day by day, we play anything from straight up house to trip-hop. And even though the label 'progressive' isn't cool anymore and people are making up new names for it, we still play plenty of it.

LG - Club Music.

How would you say that each of you differ musically?
GAY - It just depends on our moods and what we're feeling from the dance floor. You can hear both of us play very similar styles on certain nights, and on others we're in different places musically speaking but we always strive to make it work and sound natural as we switch off on the decks.

Are you guys doing any studio work?
CY - Larry is definitely the stronger half of the duo in the studio, its unreal how far he's come since we've started. When we work together he's the one sitting in front of the computer doing the technical stuff while I'm off with a keyboard or guitar working out melodies and figuring out what's supposed to go where. But we switch off roles all the time and we both feed off each other's ideas. When we can stop wasting time playing foosball we'll actually finish up some of our tracks we make together. With it being summer we'll have a lot more time to spend making music together and on our own.

LG - Charles and I have a number of unfinished tracks that need some work. Hopefully with the free time that summer brings we will be able to put the finishing touches on them. Aside from working with Yorek, I have a few of my own tracks and remixes that I play out. Occasionally, JV and I, who have just been asked to do a remix for Maetrik, get together to work on tracks as well.

Who inspires you and why?
CY - When it comes to music its hard for me not to be inspired by almost everything I hear. There's always something in even the most mediocre songs that I can pick up on and be inspired by. As for musicians who inspire me the list is long… Chris Fortier, Danny Howells, Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, Charlie May, Dave Dresden, Pharell Williams, Sander Kleinenberg, Burufunk, Smight, Peter Martin, Oliver Lieb, Steve Porter… etc…

LG - Worldwide: Daniel Meyer (Haujobb, Cleen, Forma Tadre) - By far the most influential artist for me. Meyer is one of the best programmers and sound designers known to man. Sevren-Ni-Arb (X Marks the Pedwalk, Pax) - Incredible voice and brilliant melodies. Sevren single handedly shaped my outlook on production. Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) - Anyone who is in the know has respect for this man. No words are needed.
Local: Jason Vasilas (JV) - This is my mentor and teacher. JV showed me the ropes and restored my faith in meeting someone from the "scene" that shared the same passion about music as I do. Jeremy Word (Icarus) - Any artist in Dallas who is not inspired by Jeremy needs to open their eyes and ears. This man can do it all and will continue to impress. Dave Cannon (Carbon Community) - Dave gave me my first opportunity at remixing a track and is someone who I have nothing but respect for. His words of encouragement and guidance have been some of the best help anyone could ask for.
