What is one thing you want to achieve in Electronic Music this year?
To have Tongy drop one of our tunes/remixes. That is our apex for the year.
What stands you apart from the hundreds of producers/DJ's
in America?
Track selection and impeccable taste/knowledge about the 'IT' tunes out there.
Describe GAP in 3 words

Bad Ass Mofos.
What other Producers motivate you?
Skylark, Mark Knight, Armand Van Helden, Seamus Haji, Full Intention, and the list can go on.
What records have had the biggest impact on you over the years?
Stardust 'The Music Sounds Better With You' changed everything. Soul Central 'Strings of Life [MK + MTV mix] is quite possibly the greatest remix of the century. That one will always remain special to us.
Is there one moment in all your DJ/Producer history that stands out as a pivotal moment?
The first time we got together for pizza and football then decided ěKnock U Overî was a great idea to roll with. The rest, you might say, is rock and roll history.
What is in the future for GAP as producers?
Hopefully we will be eliminating the boom-ti-boom-ti from our productions and just go with drums and guitars. We're pretty good at those too.
Do you have any upcoming releases?
Yes we do. Plenty. The big one to look out for is Granite & Phunk feat. Jeremy
Carr 'This Real Life' [Toolroom 2006]. This vocal track will be huge. It is
our most proud moment as producers. Other releases can be found at granite-phunk.com.
Where can we buy your music?
Online and most record shops.
Do you want to thank anyone?
We'd like to thank our #1 fan and supporter, Natalie Melodix. She has put up with two of the most self absorbed, arrogant, brooding boys for a looooong time. Kudos!
Do you have anything else to add?
To all the up and coming producers - Keep it up. Keep sharing your work. Play it out. Take a chance.
Compilations you are featured on?
Dance Valley Festival 2005 [Stonebridge] - In Bed With Space Ibiza 2005 [Jonathon Ulysses] - OneLove [Carl Kennedy]
3 of your favorite producers at the moment?
Seamus Haji & Paul Emmanuel, Axwell, and Jacques Lu Cont
What is one highlight from 2005 as a producer/dj?
Being told we were famous and then proceeding to use that to our advantage. :)
