DDM: It's been said that some of the White Lotus Society lyrics have hidden sexual meaning. (For example lyrics like "Ocean Within" and "Got you burning"). Is this true?
Adam: I really cannot comment on that subject. What I can say is that with all lyrical music, people can take things in any context that they see fit, and we make music that hopefully inspires people to listen to the lyrics and find a meaning that is positive to them. I'm not going to say yes or no.
DDM: All of the members of White Lotus Society are new to house music and dance music in general with the exception of you and DeMarkus Lewis. How has the transition been for the other members?
Adam: All of the guys in the band are incredible. They have not let the transition make them sweat at all. For these players, this is just a natural progression to another style of music. I also think that most of these boys (the ones without girlfriends) are definitely enjoying the attention.
DDM: How would you compare working within the dance music scene to the jazz scene? Do you have a preference?
Adam: I enjoy making music in general. I really don't have a preference, because I believe that House Music is an extension of jazz music. I think that any kind of music that still has people constantly innovating and changing the very essence of it is the very definition of jazz.
DDM: What are your goals for 2006?
Adam: In 2006, we really hope to get a full-length release under our belts, and to do as much touring as possible. I think that we all want to play and get some good promotions at next year's WMC as well-I know that will be in '07, but that is still a goal of ours.
DDM: Current Releases?
Adam: One of our songs called "Space Cadillac" is coming out on Slater Hogan and John Larner's record label Muzique Boutique, and we are talking to a few other labels about some other releases, but so far, that is our one definite release.

DDM: Is there anyone you would like to thank or kick a shout out to?
Adam: First and foremost I would like to thank everyone who has helped make White Lotus Society happen - including the band members for their dedication and hard work, our fans, our promoters, the venues and the sound engineers. Also we want to thank Grin Music (www.grinmusic.com) and Muzique Boutique (www.muziqueboutique.com). Our parents for their love and support in being so great and getting us into music at such young ages, and of course God for being the almighty and ruling force in our lives - without him nothing is possible. I want to kick a shout out to the most beautiful girl I've ever met in my entire life - Julie Ju... I love you more every day. Also Chris Rodriguez, Nicole a.k.a. lil' twizzla, Boo Williams - you're the greatest bro thanks for all the support, and of course everyone we have ever met and even those we haven't yet had the pleasure to meet - can't wait to make the acquaintance.
