DDM: Current Projects?
N: More XL stuff on the way. I got 3 mix CD's deep in the Texas mix tape game. TheParty Vol. 1-3. I'll probably start selling them on my little myspace page. I did a 12" for this group whose name I wont mention (bitches) that Turntablelab may or may not have sold out off.
I got to work with Marc Ecko this past summer. He called me wanting some exclusive stuff for his PS2 game Getting Up. He was great, big up to my man Neil Nice for setting the thing off!!!! Me and Neil did a night in the Lower East Side last summer called Downtown Top Ranking. Harold Hunter hosted the night for us so it was an honor to get to know that cat before he passed away. RIP Harold.
Got to DJ for M.I.A. this past spring. That shit was fun. We did the Conan O'Brien show and MTV spots. She's mega chill an easy person to work for.
This month I'm producing a singer from NYC named MIMA (check my top 8). She's on some bossanova smooth shit but were gonna flip it for the hood. She's been a friend of mine for a long time and now were taking this next month and a half to sit down and do a full length the way we want.
DDM: Who do you respect musically and why?
N: Wow... I'm mean... Sizzla is for the people. I like that shit. Cam'ron is running New York, I like that. He doesn't give a shit about model chicks or the Hamptons. He wants the hood. The Neptunes changed the game, respect due. I've always loved Coletrane, his music is beyond music.
DDM: What are some of the best events you've played at and why?
N: I opened for N.O.R.E. at some fashion shit in Puerto Rico. The promoter tried to low ball me on some last min shit. In the end they over paid me by about $1500. That was funny.
 DDM: What can we expect from one of your events/performances?
N: Some 100mph head in the whip type shit. Mami... listen.
DDM: You have always had a great following in the area. Do you have any advice for others on how to keep a loyal fan base and keep people coming back?
N: Keep shit fresh, and fun. When you're on top, smash shit.
DDM: Want to thank anyone?
N: All my friends and family. I would be nowhere with out them. This is a solo act, powered by the people.
