How did you get involved w/ Future Prophecies and who are some artists on the come up you'd like to work with given the chance?
I bought their electronic funk e.p. off subtitles while studying in Orlando and just instantly got hooked on their sound. I moved back to Dallas and Jeff Spock and I started Terminal. I really wanted to bring them as one of our very first shows so I emailed their agent in Europe.
About 6 months later Tony from F.P. emailed me to see if there was still interest. He told me a little more about their show, but I didnt quite understand until I saw the promo video and my jaw dropped. I did what I could to help sort them with some dates in other cities. We ended up bringing them for the Terminal one year party and Jeff's 21st Bday. The vibe at that show was intense.
How would you like to evolve your sound in the next couple of years and how does it relate to the current state of dnb?
I'm going to try and shift my focus more to playing piano, and live instruments. My ultimate goal is to someday be able to sit in on a jazz session. I really love how people like London Elektricity, Ming & FS, and Future Prophecies are incorporating live aspects. I want to establish a solid musical foundation and bring that to the studio and eventually the stage. To me, Dnb seems like it's in a constant state of change, that fits my sound perfectly. A wise man once told me that you have to know where you come from to know where you're going.
