Tell us about Municipal Audio and how you became involved.
Municipal Audio was created with the idea of bringing more local and worldwide talent to the Dallas. Shortly after I joined, we were offered Wednesdays at Texas Jive in Denton. There have been recent location changes, but the weekly is still running strong. It has also given me the opportunity to expose more people to dance music. We have also thrown shows, booking some of the top producers in drum and bass. What other styles of music are you interested in and will we be hearing you play anything besides dnb in the future?
I dig dubstep, grime and speed garage, but I have been all over electro house lately. Thanks to modern technology, I can afford to buy more than one genre of music. I plan on recording an electro house set within the next month that will be posted online for listeners.
What do you think about the Dallas scene as a whole?
I love the Dallas scene. I have already mentioned how loyal our drum and bass scene is. I have a lot of respect for the house scene; they have soul for their music. I plan on traveling but I will always have love for Dallas.
