Not a contrail, quite clearly...somebody wanna mind telling me WTF is going on? Weather seeding with harmless chemicals? I'm sure some are gullible enough to believe that...
EDIT: OK, so this may be the presence of water vapor at work with different temperatures in play in the upper atmosphere. However, I've seen contrails from the ground and they generally dissipate after a few moments....then, you have the long, elongated ones that remain in place over time. There's another process at work in these cases, with the chemtrail theory being the most plausible I've yet heard.
