My thoughts are is that it's not the fucking 60's and that Dallas city politics are nothing more than one big shakedown beind led by ethnic "community leaders". They use their own people's ignorance to make themselves richer and service their own agendas.
"Embarrassing" would be the term I would use to describe things in this city in that particular context.
