Not sure.
There seems to be growing discontent with the electoral college these days, and there has been for a while. The 2000 fiasco has served as a catalyst in spurring on the growth of this discontent. So I would like to say yes, but...
I suppose it depends on the next few elections/presidencies and how Dubya actually gets written into history. Only time will tell, and we are no where near the time to make predictions of this sort IMO.
