Not a chance. He pissed the GOP leadership off with his refusal to immediately and forcefully quash rumors that Kerry wanted him in his cabinet etc
But, I think his hat will be in the ring and I think he's courting GW

and left of center for a GOPer. He may offend some of the base and as a result have a hard time getting the nod from the party - but I think he may be more popular with more Americans.... but that doesn't mean he'll be more popular with more Americans that vote... and he could make the hard right stay home like they did w/GW 1.

3rd party people don't recognize that its easier to effect their reforms from within than withuot.... meaning.... join one party or another and try to effect platform from the inside... works better.
