Last night was definently the most memorable experience I've had since I began dj'ing. The crowd was hype, the vibe was thick, and every dj played their best. It was a shame more people weren't there to catch some of the earlier dj's. J-Sun and J-Peg were both ripping it up, same with Tessai and Stormee, unfortunently to empty space. Around 11:30 things really began to pick up. Everyone was there for the right reason, for what this party was about-Relief. Thanks to everyone for the coming out and making donations. People went beyond the minimum of one can per person with the donations. I was taking bags full of cans and clothes at the door for just a minimum amount of people. Much Thanks and MAD PROPS!!! to everyone who had a part in making this event the success it was. MUCH LOVE Dallas!
Oh yeah, Props to the Motha-Fuckin Hard Style Gangsta, Dj Drew for taking up the slack of a no-show dj and keepin that shit pounding, (not to mention a crowd) till after 4. Drew my man, you always represent proper!
