I think there was a similar law passed in Missouri (I think it was Missouri).
I also believe that the law was struck down for being overbroad and vague.
I think one of the key issues in Missiouri was that their law would go so far as to prevent a Power of Attorney whihc would of course permit hospital access as well as anything else authorized in the doc.
Its foolish to try to prevent consenting parties from arranging their affairs through contracts, powers of attorney, wills etc etc however they see fit.
