i was speaking to Karen who mentioned making an online payment... with online payments they give you an Auth # or a Confirmation #... something along those lines.
and your routing number shouldn't change, it should be the same for every check... not sure why you'd want to write that down. now your CHECK number would be useful as well as the carbon copy for that check would be useful and you hopefully ask your bank to either save photocopies of every check or you have them mail them back to you. that's another way to cover yourself.
