Justice!!!!!!

OK...can we talk about that muthafuckin BASS!!!!!!????? My GOD!!! That was the clearest, meanest bass i've EVER heard at a live show!!! It took out my kidney, and gave me a reach around!!!! I just remember me, Kelle Marie, Keith P, and everyone around us looking at each other and all saying "DAMN!" at the same time. Great fuckin show!!!
Highlights:
*the crowd interaction (especially during "We Are Your Friends") was amazing
*the acapella of D.A.N.C.E. with the piano
*the "NY Excuse" drops
*the re-arrangements of "Waters of Naz" and "The Party"
* when the fuckin Marshall stacks lit up

all the re-arangements they played were great, the sound was incredible. I never dance at concerts, but Phantom had me slippin and slidin. The show made me feel hopeful about the state of electronic music in Dallas. Great vibe, cool peeps, zero attitude, tons of hugs and photos. For a electronic music show that totally relied on the music (there wasnt a huge stage "show", videos, light shows etc) it was tops!!

DJ Medhi: decent, but i wished i woulda heard stuff i didnt know. He had good stage presence and warmed it up nice. But i showed up to hear him play stuff that i wanted to acquire, not stuff that i already had.

Great to see everyone!!! I give the night an A-....the "-" comes from dealing with the HORRIBLE bartenders at the Loft party. The slowest i've EVER come across in all the bars i've ever been in. I paid 13.50 for a "double" Patron that was the size of a normal shot anywhere else in the world. Props to The Party and Keith P

Thanks to everyone that gave me and Robert compliments about our Melodica set, and "Hey" to Jeff K , Robert Vaughan, and Merrit!!! It was nice to be around other old folks!!!

great night!! if you weren't there, you missed out.
March is gonna be fun i think!!!

to borrow and amend a quote from someone i know: "Justice made Dallas cool!!" but Dallas also made ITSELF cooler too!!! Big Up all the supporters!!!

quote of the night: "Damn!!! do you see this?!?!? i think it's starting to come back!!!! i actually have hope!!!! i was scared of what tonight might be, but i'm proud of Dallas! I'm really proud of Dallas tonight!"

ditto

culture always builds on the past
the past always tries to control the future
our future is becoming less free
to build free societies we need to limit the control of the past.
