Well, I know four star admirals can typically only hold their position for five years. Unless they rose to that rank very quickly. Seems like there's a fair amount of flux in three to four star Admirals. Seems even more likely if the then Sec. of the Navy has you pigeonholed for the gig...even though he's only a cog in the machine that makes admirals, I'm sure he has a good deal of sway. blah, whatever, is this and his ex-wife (who still speaks very highly of McCain, and even said he would make an excellent president) the only type of character assassination the left can muster?
