well it seems the conflict problem is resolved.
I went in this afternoon, and it seems they double booked on the 26th, and I have been bumped in favor of a party for the construction crew that just built the place.
They did refund MOST of my money temporarily... When I asked about doing the weekend before they told me that they are now having to wait on the city setting a capacity on the place before they can promise dates to anyone.
I feel like beating my head into a wall now, but at least there is a good side in that nobody has to decide between two parties.
