Indeed.

Make sure your demo is as polished as possible. Besides a good mix, that means an eye-catching look and easy to read contact info.

Even if it's just something basic like a small cue sheet in a paper envelope with your CD, it will stand out more than a silver CD-R with sharpie written all over it.
