In the end, if it's down to two DJ's for the opening slot, neither one of which I know much about, the rockin live demo will get the gig every time, not the one that's obviously thrown together on somebody's laptop. I want to hear some dodgy mixes, and see how you get out of them. Common mistakes that you handle well speak in your favor.
