My special breed comment was in reference to whomsoever it was that moved my thread without responding to my simple question as to why the change in policy. This comment was made in response to the of moving my question to the rules section without actually answering the question. I thought this to be passive aggressive. Enforcing rules is important and required as i attempted to say in my previous post - but changing course midstream without explanation made me take pause and simply ask why.
I make no claim to know anything about you as a person or a performer other than what you posted in this thread. I have no interest in indicting your claims or belittling what you've worked for. I wish you well on your travels.
Though I am not entirely certain of the point you're trying to make by using the phrase "being the big rave star that you are..." I make no claim to be a rave star. I can only assume you imagined that my reference to promoting on many forums was somehow an assertion of my popularity. The actual point I was making was that most forums do not preclude that a picture from a party is a party review - and those that do have clearly defined rules that say so. The only claim that I made at best is that I am a performer and work to promote in the interest of self-actualization and shared experience. Claims i've made on this site at worst are that I am an unemployed "artist" that sits around the house all day with cancer.
As to why i posted there? I always have. Equating your premise of posting a technical question in a meet and greet forum is straw-man logic since my post can be construed as "useless blabber" as it has always served as a potperi for this website. I happen to know that other mods have seen my previous posts and let them remain unmoved without a thought on this site. You are correct that useless blabber gets pruned and that the majority of the picture posts I've made there no longer exist as time has gone on. Given the fact that a picture quite obviously does not constitute a review of an event the post could have just as easily have moved to General Discussion where there is party related discussion...
None of this matters, because I never asked you to move it back - I simply asked why DDM changed the policy - to which you responded: you didn't see my previous posts and that you would have moved them if you did. I accept your explanation.
While I can't apologize for posting in the wrong forum since there is no demonstrative rule on this site pertaining to what I did... I still believe that this site is yours to do as you please as I have already mentioned as I said in the onset of this post.
