Me too. If they substituted candy and junkfood with say fruit or vegetables, that would help worlds. Or if they had enough confidence and control to say "no" to their kids when they demand certain foods, or when the kid refuses to eat healthy, and the parents just roll over and say "oh well, okay! Here you can have this fried chicken instead" ... it's so bleh. My step mom is guilty of that. My little brother eats nothing but chicken nuggets and french fries. I told her to quit feeding him that and to say NO to him, and she says "oh but then he refuses to eat anything else, I don't want him to starve" newsflash, he's not going to starve himself to death if he cant get his chicken nuggies. lol.
I saw on tv once, this babysitting reality show, about overweight kids or something, and these parents had a closet FULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL OF JUNK FOOD AND CANDY. I was so disgusted.
That is NOT PARENTING.
