You need to understand that for some dogs, the only way to get them rehabilitated or able to be around a social environment, is by introducing them to social environments where people are around, that includes people taking their dogs with them to run errands or, especially go to the pet store. Now, these owners often don't know HOW to handle their unruley pet, when taking them out into public places, and I think that's what your problem is with. That they only know half of the process. They aren't actually training their dog, they're just thinking "oh I'll bring him to public places and eventually he'll act perfectly okay around people." which is lol. It takes a lot of work. I'm sorry those people bother you Miles, but maybe next time, tell the owner with the dog some constructive criticisms that might shine a lightbulb in their brain. They forget that not ALL people want a dog to jump on them. It's not "cute" to everybody. Next time suggest that he watch some of the Dog Whisperer, or suggest he sign his dog up for the training program PetSmart offers, instead of letting it ruin the rest of your day.
