And it is your right to want to protect your personal space and feel angered when other people or animals enter it without permission. Which is WHY you should maybe, tell the person or animal who is entering your personal space, that they are doing so without permission.
What do you do when the dog gets all up in your area? Smile? Say "Oh, no it's okay.. hi puppy.." or do you say "NO!!!!!!!!!!!" and give the animal AND owner a look of disgust, then fart on the dog? You can let them both know you are uncomfortable, with just a look, if you feel too shy to be communicatively vocal about it.
