Joys of Lines @ Kroger

So, I'm standing in line at the customer service to get a money order at Kroger. When standing in lines, I always make sure not to crowd the person in front of me. I certainly don't invade their personal space and get right up on their back. I don't because I hate it when people get right up on my back in lines and it feels like they're breathing down my neck. Just seems like one of the most basic of common courtesies to not invade someone elses personal space. Anyways, this little old lady with grey hair, who happens to be borderline in my personal space, probably around a foot away, is like, "are you in line? why don't you move up?" I tell her that "she's not going to get there any faster, and that I simply don't like breathing down people's necks." She responds by telling me "that's what lines are for, and that someone might see a gap and cut in front". Yea, there's like a gap of about 3 yards, and it's pretty clear there's a line unless you're blind. I respond and say "so lines are for breathing down other people's necks, never heard that." The whole time she has some 17 year old kid with her who the whole time is like "now now grandma".lol. I got my money order and just left. Ugh. Guess I admire the nerve she must have to tell complete strangers to move.
