3 bands being showcased, fashion show and gallery opening

Okay, I know that everyone has jobs and kids and lives that get in the way of going out on a Thursday night, but...

PLEASE consider making it out for this special event in Dallas this Thursday night, May 21st. Dove Hunter is one of three bands being showcased, along with a fashion show and gallery opening all wrapped into one incredible event, ReFactory 1.

The name is inspired by the concept and allure of Andy Warhol's infamous studio in NYC, The Factory, which hosted groundbreaking parties from 1962 to 1968.

Check out the link below; I thought this was very interesting:

Warhol fan or not, I really think this night is going to be something special and worth losing out on some sleep. It is being held in a warehouse in downtown Dallas that is being transformed especially for the event. The theme of the space will be inspired by the Dove Hunter album cover, complete with a mountain of dirt dividing the rooms and a video projection of a setting sun. I have no idea how they're going to pull that off, but I gotta see it.

The address is 1800 Lear Street, Dallas, TX. The doors open at 7pm.

PLEASE forward this to all of your friends!!! It's a huge space and all are hoping for a big turnout, but the hosts are dead-set on promoting entirely through word-of-mouth. The idea is that the size of the event should reflect the enthusiasm of the creative community in North Texas and not just be something that was blown up on the radio or in the paper. I totally agree that it's the best way to ensure a huge success but preserve that good-ol' underground feeling.

It is co-hosted by The Doublewide, so there will be a full bar. I hear the other bands are soulfully great and the DJ plays everything old and good that you heart could ever desire.

Hope to see you there,
Love,
Memory

P.S. I am assuming that Dove Hunter will go on around 11:00 or so, but that is totally an assumption. I just say it so that no one comes thinking they will be able to see them play at 8:00 and be in bed by 10:00!
