No. You do not have now (nor has anyone) ever had the right to marry some one of the same sex. You're asking for something new. I support the request but don't confuse it with a right denied.

OK - be happy about it. I think he's being patronizing. Especially in light of the fact that he does not support changing the definition of marriage to include same sex couples.
