Here's my latest theory on this: We start doing more business with them, we get our hooks further into them economically. We want them to depend on us, which actually gives us more power. If we are doing business with communist China, Russia, and especially Venezuela after what Chavez has done and said, there is no reason we shouldn't be doing business with Cuba. In fact, the only reason Chavez doesn't pull the plug on our oil is simply because they need us. We are their biggest customer. The more hooks we get into Cuba the more likely the people are to see the light of democracy. Plus I like their cigars
