FRANKIE BONES BIOGRAPHY:
Juxtapose your position. I'm in this International playing field 20 years come August. I was the first American DJ to play the U.K. Summer Of Love @ Energy with 25,000 people. That one show opened a vault of underground awareness that first spread throughout Europe and then right into the fabric of American society.

Old School is not proper terminology. I wrote the blueprint for the foundation on which it sits. Both Love Parade themes in 1990 & 1991 were named after my albums, "The Future Is Ours" and "My House Is Your House". Featured on the Warner Bros. release "The Lexicon Of House" and the more current German DVD "We Call It Techno".

I'm also responsible for the rave mantra "P.L.U.R." which was first know as a movement. The respect part was added later, but we were first the Peace, Love & Unity Movement. Movement because we were moving, breaking and entering warehouses in the industrial wastelands of Brooklyn. To enter this once magical place you had to be a part of the Movement because we took people and sound to furthest realms of underground madness with STORMrave.

We had Richie Hawtin & Sven Vath playing in Brooklyn in early 1992 and went onto doing strictly warehouse events with 5000 people. Many years have passed but the love for the music and the culture is stronger then ever. If underground techno was once the style you know me for, times have changed drastically.

The scene has emerged once again even bigger in 2009 then any year I can recall. Thanks to the internet, Electronic Music has once again introduced itself to thousands of newbies ready to take part in the celebration, worldwide.

Beatport has leveled the playing feild and I have watched the DJ culture tenfold once more. So what makes Frankie Bones different then all this new talent? Well for one, I moved to California where a DJ can still use vinyl as a format and win against any Digital Jukebox that wants to play.

The sound is current. Some call it fidget, others nu-electro and still others call it 'bassline'. Call it what you like, I play one type of sound to the two that exist. I call it "Good Music". As opposed to "bad music". I listen to the trend while not letting it dictate my direction.

The equation breaks down to this. There are a lot of talented individuals out there. I'm not playing better then anyone of them, yet I am able to play with them. What that means is that if I am sharing a bill with them, I'm gonna do me on par with whoever is doing them. I use 'ROCK IT SCIENCE'. It's not Rocket Science, BTW. I just Rock It. Plain and simple.

I'm as hungry as I have ever been and I come in and compete with a flavor I have always called my own. Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere. I'm not needing to hype myself as I don't win awards, don't jock DJ Top 10's, yet deliver as you would expect from a veteran of the Sonic Groove. This ain't a game people, understand. When you book Frankie Bones, you are booking the REAL, The truth and brought to you at Professional Grade.
