Light weight(No extra parts), less parts to fuck up while your riding or maintain, more exercise because your always peddling/never coasting as well as only one gear so your really going to have to work hard getting up those hills(not a lot of hills in Dallas which is good for fixed gear), and also riding a fixed gear makes you more conscious of road conditions, your speed, and just the over all feel of your bike due to basically no brakes and the continues motion of your pedals. Also there’s certain tricks that can be done that can’t be done with other bikes due to the fixed gear.
You wont see many kids riding these bikes, champ.
