Funny! I don't remember even talking to you, plus I do not hit people up for gigs! If you didn't NEED me then don't book me! I sure as hell didn't ask you bozos for a gig! Also I was booked for uberzone gig, and when I was out of town, the whole party changed, and I was kept on the bill, without explaining to me that headliner cancelled.
I explained from the get go, I expect some kind of compensation for my time, not into teeny bopper rave parties with gay pics on flyer, and pilbury dough boys! So you guys dropped the ball AGAIN! So why don't you tell us the real reason you guys cant do show at afterlife, or should I explain it to the masses? 3rd your boy afrikakaka in same sentence when he said they couldn't afford to pay their dj's, in same sentence asked me to do show at lear st. and said money was no option, and that you guys trusted him with your money, and it was no problem? Well if money is no problem to you big baller shot callers, then kicking down a local promoter $50 with lots of experience, and an extensive network, should be no problem, now should it? And i am no newbie fellas. Also peeps know ahead of time the our scenarios with payment. You guys had $9000 budget, bout 700 in attendance, $20 cover, you do the math! If afrika is doing your bookings, and managing your name, then you may want to do a lil follow up homework, so he doesn't make you look like a dumb ass!
We had show with Shiva shakti with similar budget on a friday, a week before your event, and payed every dj $75 with others making a little more and we still made money, to put back into the tour. With 200 less people!!! So save me your sidesteppin buddy, and if you quote someone, better make sure they did their homework, cuz i never ever said I would do gig for pro bono! If you guys would have lost your ass, then I would have, no problems! I spend my money on free shows all the time for peeps, I don't sweat it one bit!
I had to beg you guys for gas money, and as well as I heard the party before this one, it was a lot of the same shit! Not to mention, we had show on same night and you tried to book half of our lineup that was on the patio. You would think that with so many dj's in this town, you could pick a few that weren't book for another party? So before you start blowin up my cell phone or my PM box, with threats, Mr. Afrika, best get YOUR facts str8! Dont know how you do it from Cape Town, but we do shit just a lil different in D-town homie! Don't ever fucking call me in that tone of voice and leave a message on my phone! I may take it serious!
