i have a friend here "visiting" from central america. lets just say her status is complex. anyway, we were watching the news the other afternoon and they were debating a border fence. she asked me "what are they so mad about?" so i explained that the person on the left wants the US to build a fence down at the border to help reduce illegals from coming across and the man on the right is mad about that and doesn't want a fence.

she goes and i quote:
"how can he be mad about him wanting a fence? it's only logical that he would want a fence. it's his country. what is this man's problem? i don't understand this country."
