There's mixes of Cinder's out there to be found. He utilizes samples from all kinds of things to add to the mix. It can be cheeky/funny or serious. | Fred(Neuromotor) did it here in Austin at Psikodiskodiwali. It sounded like anything but shit. It was amazing and he did it to perfection. There were multiple times that he had full tracks on all four channels with just the his and mids playing on the main track and a bassline from track b, he would then switch every eighth beat to another bassline making it sound like the track had four separate basslines. Then he would mix to track b for a second before bringing us into track c or something like that.
After all, psytrance is only a bit more syncopated than acid techno and acid techno djs used to do this all of the time.
