i don't have twitter. and i dont see how it being any more or less anonymous than facebook makes it a non-indicator of the serious narcissism + lack of culture and identity amongst this generation. just because your pic isn't on there doesn't mean its not a chance to get attention or some kind of scrap of self validation. why the fuck else would people post the random and inane shit they do on there? because it's productive and anonymous? right.
i was discussing an issue that is a bit broader than just twitter. twitter is merely a small component of my complaint.
