Do you think that N. Korea is a little pissed about us still being stationed in S. Korea or is it acting as a deterrent to more agressive action from the North?
I can't really take a side either way on that particular country, but I don't think we need to have bases everywhere, especially if the people don't want us there, which they don't seem to in Iraq. We already have bases close to the proximity and I don't agree with extreme expansive action of our military presence.
While I think it's good for our defenses and the defense of our allies, it can be a bit annoying I am sure for the citizens of those countries.
