Quite justified in my posting and opinions of this scumbag.
you are welcome to your opinions as i am free to speak my concern. & since you don't feel you have ptsd, you will be in & out of therapy in no time at all. think of it as getting your teeth cleaned. just want a nice smile on you, fella.

i am glad that you have given yourself permission to mourn the fallen. one day you will understand how deeply it effected you. cause i know that you know that it very easily could have been you sent home in a box. & that is stressful for any living thing.

despite what your buddies & commanding officers told you about the shame of PTSD, that was wishful thinking on their part. tough strong men come home unsettled emotionally from (1) being shot at (2) killing other humans. i'm not saying they don't come to grips with it in the warzone so that they can continue fighting. but sanctity of life is hard to ignore.

but u still feel the emotions, anger, loss, frustration. ptsd isn't just guys committing suicide or ending up in a straight jacket. ptsd causes vets to drink away the memories, alienate & abuse families and many times push their love ones so far away that they end up homeless.

let me tell you, homeless vets have amazing survival skills. but that doesn't make them any less fukt in the head when they are too proud to get any help. clinging too desperately to the bs lines they were told that PTSD is a welfare scam.

i don't like those ppl that spit on soldiers either, they make it even harder for me to make my reasonable points to guys like you. i reserve my DISGUST for a govt that has no problem sending 18 year old men to be killed or maimed in the line of duty but then they cut every corner possible at the VA. until they are willing to care for injured soldiers til they are old & dead, i will continue to protest unjust warfare.

diplomats & politicians don't fight & die. they send you guys to do it. that is wrong unless they want to give vets the same health care that they get. congressmen get health insurance for LIFE. same should go for vets. congressmen are not dodging bullets.

i am ashamed of the way the govt. tricks our vets. the military is essential to protect our land & way of life. but it is ethically wrong for them to underfund the va, reduce veteran health benefits & especially when they tell them that PTSD is a joke (which has been documented since ROMAN times and was even called "Soldier's Heart" in the Civil War).

i weep for the loved ones of these vets.

it took me 30 years to convince someone i loved to get help & then it was too late. the anger ate them alive. i summarized an 11 page booklet by the VA on PTSD into an easy 2 page blog (you can find it on myspace). i didn't change a word just shortened it. but who am i to you? lol

in the meantime i suggest reading anything by the ex-vet psychiatrist Jonathan Shay. He isn't anti-war, he's pro-vet. he just wants you guys to recognize what's going on inside you, so you can let this anger go.

cause i know you are tired of being angry. that anger keeps you alive in war. but at home it just gets in your way & isolates you.

i suggest you start with Odysseus in America: "Combat Trauma and the Trials of Homecoming" by him.

cause you aren't the only vet that came home to an argument that is impossible for EITHER side to win.
