To vote on-line...im sick and tired of just having an opinion and not doing anything about it..it's time for me to at least TRY and make a difference.....if that's at all possible...any link's would be very helpful

Why do you need to vote online? What is so hard about going to the precinct voting locations to vote on election days?

I think you have to register on paper. You can get the form from any post office, fill it out and drop it in the mail. I don't think you even need a stamp.

I have no conviction..it's deferred adjudication for 5 years only show's up as an arrest on my record

Probation is what you get when you've already been convicted of a crime. Deferred Adjudication is actually a different type of punishment.

As E-brake said, you can vote, but if you fuck up your DA, you won't be allowed to vote.

You can find voter registration forms on-line. These are what have to be filled out and sent in.

Step 1 in registering to vote is reading & following directions.

It might be technically illegal, but plenty of felons register and vote all over the country. I donno about deferred, but regular probationers can vote as soon as their term is complete in Texas. George W. made that change to the state's law. Funny if it would prove to be his undoing.

I don't know about DA, but even convicted felons can legally vote provided they have finished all the terms of their sentence.
