Old news or not, it is an excellent opportunity for Rick Doblin and friends to make good for the psychoactive research community.

However, "bver", please note that the rave scene and its polydrug-abuse are quite separate from the higher purposes of MAPS and the psychoactive research community. Doblin, Shulgin, et al will be among the first (and undoubtedly most eloquent and well-researched) to ask that ecstasy stay well out of the rave scene or any other environment which increases many fold the risks associated with drug use.
