YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! !!! Stevo!! you make me so happy!! i'm so glad we got to talk yesterday.....God is doing awesome things!! We both had to learn the hard way.... It took me being arrested twice, wrecking my car 4 times, and becoming hopelesly obsessed with drugs and alcohol for me to wake up. I have parents that never gave up on me, and i know their prayers are the ONLY reason why i am alive today. I too have cheated death, and the only way to explain my living through some of the insane things i've done on drugs is angles were watching over me. The Grace and Mercy of God are amazing and powerful things!! Stevo, welcome to new life! I'm so excited for you! The joy that I have found in giving my life to Christ is something so utterly mindblowing and breath taking, its something that I desire for everyone I know. I want everyone to know about and share this hope and joy that both stevo and I have found. But it does take making a decision on who is going to be in charge of you life. We have both found that us being in the drivers seat had led to a lot of pain, but by deciding to turn the drivers seat over to God, the peace that sorounds your life is so incredible that for us not to want to talk about and share it would be rediculous. For anyone one this board who wants to make light of his decision or the power of God, just know that the reason we talk about it, is that we have been on both sides, and being recconciled to God is Far more satisfying than ANY drug or any party or club has EVER been. Everyone on earth will worship something, weather it will be a boyfriend/girlfriend, a car, money, your job, sex, your tv shows, music, drugs, etc... b/c man/woman was made to worship something....the only thing that will fully satisfy your soul in worship is the exact power (God) that created you. Only that will complete you. Stevo, I love you and I'm SOOOO proud of you for writing this!!

Steve, thanks for sharing your story on the board. Congrats on your newfound faith in Christ! I know you will get your life together, but I hope you don't lose the love for the music that has been your passion the last few years. One more thing, does this mean I won't see you at Paul Van Dyk next month? All the best, Kennedy |

but on the real Steve its all good, some of us know where u are at my story is similar to yours, minus the navy seal stuff. its been a cycle, from good, to bad, to some sort of drastic change, then over again. seems to kind of improve though each time. i think drugs is something some just have to grow out of. luckily for a lot of people reading this we not dead yet and we're in the process of growing up. if religion can do it for you that's what you should do. |

awesome man. dont believe in yourself. when you give it to the Lord, you are no longer yourself it says in the Bible. be dead to yourself and youll be everything that you were meant to be and more. God bless you in your life. welcome to the family. |

I'm really happy for you Steve!!!! I, too, have a very religious mother but she's VERY old-fashioned and CONSTANTLY pushes it on me. Basically she tells me everything I do is wrong and I will go to hell for it. Yeah so I have my issues with religion but would never knock anyone for their own personal beliefs. Whether it be Jesus, Buddah or Allah I have total respect for what makes you happy. I've known a couple of people that have been to that church. They said they didn't even feel like they were in church! Now if you go to church wouldn't you want that "church" experience??? Just trying to get that confusion out of my head. Anyway Steve I'm really happy that you've found your faith and I really believe that you will receive many blessings in your life. I guess the Lord really does work in mysterious ways then huh?

Congrats on your decision. I hope that you have the conviction to stay strong! One of the best natural 'highs' I've had was just being in at a massiv surrounded by a ton of people just moving to the music as one. Truely an awesome experience. Drugs can get you places but what's the point if the last place it gets you is jail or a coffin? |
