Man, when was it taught that terrorism worked in any way shape or form? Have there been any acts of terrorism that accomplished significant goals for the terrorists that commited them? I vaguely remember some people getting freed from prison when I was younger but all I see in the middle east now is that terrorism just brings more suffering to all parties involved. Someone give these fools an xbox and a joint...

This is disturbing, because you know this is nothing but an Ogrish.com video in the making. The Japanese aren't going to pull out, and these people are going to suffer horribly.

The most common way they like to kill people is by slowly cutting their throat, not slitting but cutting..Chechens have dubbed it "flippo" flippo lighter, truly inhumane and horrible hopefully they will be rescued.

Do you have any proof of this claim?

http://www.ogrish.com I haven't watched them put there are videos on that site showing Chechens beheading Russian soldiers whith pocket knifes..I wouldn't reccomend watching them. Thats how Daniel Pearl was executed. They offered to spare him if he spoke out against Israel and the United States he did they killed him anyhow.

Thats what I was thinking as I was watching this report.
Three days is an awful short amount of time but hopefully Delta or Team Six can get to them in time.

If an operation is launched to recover the Japanese nationals, the coalition would consult with Japan first, they would have to be 100% sure on the loaction where they are being held, and the current situation it would be risky, if I were there, I would prefer to go out in a hail of machine gun fire then being burned alive or beheaded. Successful hostage rescue operations without casualties are rare.

They've now snatched up 4 Italians and 2 Americans. Believe you me, folks, there's going to be a LOT of copycatting on this one in the near future:

> LINK <

ABU GHRAIB, Iraq (Reuters) - Iraqi insurgents said they had seized four Italians and two Americans on the western outskirts of Baghdad on Friday.

A Reuters journalist saw two captive foreigners, said by the insurgents to be Italians, in a mosque in a village in the Abu Ghraib district. One was wounded in the shoulder. Both were weeping.

U.S. soldiers in a tank in the area near the village of al-Dhahab al-Abyad said they knew some Americans had been taken hostage, but had no details.

"That's why we are sealing off the road," said one soldier.

Insurgents told Reuters they had captured four Italians traveling in a four-wheel-drive vehicle with weapons in it. They said they had seized the Americans in a separate attack.

They took the journalist to a mosque, surrounded by about 40 fighters with rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles, where they said all the hostages had been taken.

The two foreigners could be seen from a distance, but the fighters did not allow them to be filmed.

1) A polytheist prisoner must be killed. No amnesty may be granted to him, nor can he be ransomed.
2) All infidel polytheists and the People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians) are to be killed. They may not be granted amnesty, nor can they be ransomed.
3) Amnesty and ransom are the only two ways to deal with prisoners.
4) Amnesty and ransom are possible only after the killing of a large number of prisoners.
5) The Imam, or someone acting on his behalf, can choose between killing, amnesty, ransom or enslaving the prisoner.
Killing a Prisoner for the Sins of Others is Permissible.

It seems to be a endless cycle of violence, with no solution.

This could be accurately applied to so many situations, many I'm sure you'd try to disagree with.
