Mossad agents enter Lebanon to hit Hamas

Quote:

Lebanese security services have received intelligence information that Mossad agents have entered the country with the goal of assassinating senior Hamas officials, Al Jazeera reported Sunday.

According to the report, the Israeli agents used foreign passports in order to enter the country.

A senior Hamas official in Lebanon said that the organization will take the necessary precautions.

A senior Hamas official warned that if Israel begins to assassinate terror leaders abroad, the organization will carry out retaliation attacks against "Zionist" targets abroad.
Things are about to get interesting.

Hamas is going to start having real difficulties finding anyone willing to serve as leader....and staying in the position for any length of time worthy of claiming the title.

The head of Hamas is Khalid Mishaal, he is based out of Syria, the new man in Gaza is Mahmoud al-Zahar. I find it amusing that the Palestinians tried to keep it a secret, Ariel Sharon said " The entire Hamas leadership is marked for death", even if that means going into Syria to get Mishaal. Those Apache gunships can appear out of know where, and when the terrorist are stuck in traffic, their screwed, they also want to avoid using phones-landline and cell phones, cell phones have been known to explode when answered.

If any of this brings any end or even reduction to the murder and chaos over there, I'll send Arial Sharon a Hanukkah present this year.

Ariel Sharon isn't the problem, its the terrorist organization that is vowed to the destruction of the jewish state.
Quote:
They used to go to Austria and many South American countries to kill Nazis that escaped Germany aftr WWII, not to mention the great lengths that they went thru to track down the terrorists that hijacked their airliners in the 70's
They pulled off the greatest and most daring hostage rescue ever, from Israel to Uganda, Israel lost one soldier a couple of hostages and killed all the German/Palestinian terrorist.

Where is the logic in making peace with a terrorist organization who will not accept or recognize Israels right to exist? Call it what you will, but the Palestinians will not achieve their goals through a campaign of terror. Do what you usually do, blame President Bush, blame PM Sharon, and while your at it, blame the jews just for living.

Wrong.

They are both the problem. Hamas, the Israeli government, all of them.

Please. Israel is as full of hatred and a desire to murder as are the Palestinians, they just have a much better life on their side of the fence. If you've really spent time over there as you say, you should know better. Israel doesn't want peace, they want to run the Palestinians as far off that land as is possible. I've heard it straight from the mouths of Israelis and seen it in the relentless and brutal actions of their government. Sharon is a murderer, a war criminal, and now a crooked bribe-taker, and you still continue to put faith in that evil man while common Israelis and Palestinians are slaughtered in the middle of this firestorm of religious and political fundamentalism. Neither side will ever change because they are driven purely by hatred, and hatred cannot be compromised or bargained away.

As Ryan indicated, both sides are the problem. The terrorist groups don't want Israel at all, and the Israeli government doesn't want to recognize Palestinian rights to land and autonomy under existing agreements. Both hate each other with a passion, and if you read the texts of the leaders of both they pretty much mirror each other in their hate and drive to destroy the other.

Israel will reconize a Palestinian state, but Israel will never reconize Jersualem as the capital for the Palestinians. Palestinians had a chance to claim their state in 1948, they refused, they would have a state as we speak if Arafat didn't walk away from the steller deal offered by Ehud Barak, in 1999.
