![]() | kerry a drug reformer?
More on Kerry and the Drug War At last, somebody else around blogolandia other than me is doing some heavy lifting to vet John Kerry's positions on the drug war and read the tea leaves on what a Kerry administration might do. And that's excellent, because I've been so busy cleaning up after the messes caused South of the Border by Washington's current drug policy that I haven't gotten back to the remaining 11 chapters of my 13 chapter essay on the subject. Kudos to John Smith over at LincolnPlawg. Quote of the day: "The mandatory-minimum-sentencing structure of our country is funneling people into jail who have no business being there." - John Kerry Lots of links, too, over there. it's his election to lose, according to Zogby.. Giordiano's BigLeftOutside also features an interesting debate on Nader and how his presence in the race might actually help Kerry by making him appear to be more of a moderate to independents and swing voters. Worth considering. |
