I'm sure I'll see it, if only for comedic value. I'm interested in seeing how he will take a bunch of random, unrelated facts and weave them together into a story that proves his agenda. I'm still trying to figure out how the f*ck Dick Clark is responsible for the little black girl's murder in Michigan, or how the K-Mart exec shares the blame in the Columbine ordeal.

I dunno.

Anything this inflamitory, and was refused to be shown by higher powers because of such at least deserves a listen...

I agree that he puts an unbelievable spin on things and then relates random events that usually have nothing to do with each other....kinda like metioning Iraq and 9-11 in the same speech..but anyways.

If he is good for anything it is the exposing of facts that some or most poeple wouldn't know or care to think about. Leave it for yourself to put them together.

For the most part, I'm not to crazy about his work.

The problem is that he does this and still somehow gets his films put into the 'documentary' section, so people think what he's saying is 100% true. That is my big problem with Michael Moore. It's not that he's making these films, it's that he parades them around as if they're the absolute truth.

The point of Bowling for Columbine was not about guns. It was a critique of violence in this country, the means, the historical basis, the social effects, etc. If you watch it in that framework, it makes a lot more sense. If you don't catch that as the theme of the documentary (which I can understand why one would not, it isn't spelled out) it is going to appear to be just a jumble of random points.

If someone uses fallacies & distorted statistics to make their point, it tends to mute the message. Furthermore, when making a documentary one must be credible for their information to achieve the biggest impact. If they are using unreliable data and are either unable or unwilling to confirm the information as true it undermines them and by extension their message.

personally i just want to see what he's going to say about the bush administration and how they screwed our country over for years to come.

I'm not a big fan of politics, but I do like to be aware of what's going on. Although this is not the best movie to get your sources of information, I wish someone would do a true documentary on what's going on in our nation.

hrmmm sounds like the same thing that most politicians do. I admit that MM is not always accurate in the way he portrays what could be perceived as fact however his films are not costing 1000s of American lives at steak as well as other people's lives. Sometimes it takes a big liar in Hollywood to compete with the big liars in Washington.
