i say women not being able to drive... cause sexual equality is one of the first steps to civility.

cause ppl have been cutting off heads since we were cavemen.

i find the recent rash of beheading very ironic so soon after the arms race.

its like they are trying to remind gadget obsessed americans that it doesn't take much more than effort to kill someone.

next they will just rip ppl to bits with their bare hands... ala drawn & quartered.

murder is in no way civil ever
whether its beheading or using a hydrogen bomb to suck all the air out of the area.
doesn't matter if it is the murder of civilians or soldiers
its all wrong

They're both offensive in their own right. I don't think it's fair to say one is better or worse than the other.

Beheading has been going on for a long time, hon, and has remained rather popular (although I believe stoning beats it out for the preferred capital punishment). The news networks just haven't covered the act, and it's more shocking to present it as a 'new horror' rather than a 'new to us' horror.

Homosexuality is outlawed in Saudi Arabia and punishable by beheading.
