Take Democracy to the Movies

TAKE DEMOCRACY TO THE MOVIES!!"

Join BlockCensorship.com in telling Disney and
Bush that Americans won't stand for censorship.
BlockCensorship's aim is to "keep America's
screens lit" for as long as possible by selling
out every available seat.

In light of the attempt by the Walt Disney
Company and the Bush Administration to censor
Michael Moore's new film, "Fahrenheit 911," we
think it appropriate to start with the theaters
near Crawford, Texas. We found the movie theater
showing "Fahrenheit 911" that is closest to
Bush's Crawford ranch. Visit BlockCensorship.com
and purchase a ticket for opening weekend. Buy a
ticket for yourself or for a friend or for who
you believe should see this movie.

With your help we'll keep the screen lit all
weekend long send a message to Bush and Disney
that they can't keep the truth from America!!

Visit us at www.BlockCensorship.com to purchase a
ticket or to learn more about "Take Democracy to
the Movies."

In all fairness, Walt Disney is a private company and has the right to censor anything they wish, just as the major networks have a choice to air the programs they choose. For them, it is a business decision, not a political issue. I am also unaware of any attempts by the Bush administration to block the release or viewing of this film. The only people I know who are trying to "censor" it are private groups trying to put pressure on movie companies not to show it. Thus far, they have been pretty much unsuccessful and have given Michael Moore the greatest gift he could wish for - TONS of free advertising. They have a right to show their opposition just as Moore has a right to show his film - and he will show it.

Yep, at Cannes it was said that he knew for months that Disney wouldn't be distributing the film but a Disney subsidary.....
