Considering current trends in philosophical thought, do you have any response to post-modern criticisms that would characterize your philosophy, specifically your pyramid allegory, as metanarrativist and reductionist?

reductionism--any method or theory of reducing data, processes, or statements to seeming equivalents that are less complex or developed, usually a disparaging term---- disparaging....to lower in esteem; discredit to speak slightingly of; show disrespect for; belittle... my philosophy would definitely be considered meta-narrativist...if that's an actual word...because there was a change in position from the original Allegory and mine...it is in story form telling the history of the events prior to and after the acquisition of a great civilization Egypt by the Romans and the Greeks... it does reduce data...not to less complex or developed terms per se, but into more complex thought processes and the availability to completely understand what transpired in the past hoping that it will help in the future... why, I believe no one did it before...they didn't have the power to build it up...after tearing it down...if that makes sense...not to belittle...but to strengthen as a whole...not as seperate but equal...but as ONE species It just so happens that I happened to be born on the losing side...the AFRO-ASIATIC...which would not only refer to blacks...but asians as well...It would probably raise the esteem of a culture, descent, ethnicity know as the African-American race...though I feel that the initial readers will not be of this "race" because it wasn't written for the race by or in itself (per se) but for our species as a whole

by using this comment "that's some nigger bullshit" you derailed the conversation and context in which you meant it...I understand...but I would have used it in the first place... if that makes sense to you... I know you meant no harm by it...but I wouldn't of put that shit up there...unfornuately you did...so correct your mistakes...while I try and fix mine... but why even put it there in the first place...the first time you deemed it necessary...you and I both know the history of that word...it should of died off a long time ago...with slavery and the rest of the IGNORANT OR FOOLISH BASTARDS.... a definition....originally simply a dialectal variant of Negro....the term nigger is today acceptable only in black English (Blingish); in all other context it is now generally regarded as virtually taboo because of the legacy of racial hatred that underlies the history of its use among WHITES, and it's continuing use among a minority as A VICIOUSLY HOSTILE EPITHET.... which is how I took it...vicious...but I guess I'm supposed to read your mind and it's underlying meanings.... Because, idris, in the reference of my comment, it was pointing the finger at the true problem in this situation, those that consider themselves 'niggas' or 'blacks'. I wonder, honestly and with no mal-intent, whether or not you have known strong and positive figures in your life (meaning you personally know them) that are the same color as you. To my racially-enlightened self, the color really doesn't matter, but some need to be shown the possibilities before they can accept them. It's been obvious through your posts on this board for some time that you fear persecution for the color you were born with. Many, many times I've seen you get up in arms about issues that hit close to home with you, and you try to tie situations back to racism. Until you can understand that you can live without persecution, you will always perceive that you are or will be.

Until you can understand that you can live without persecution, you will always perceive that you are or will be. contradictory statement...it's a little bit hard with the history...and current present...Reginald Denney, Jasper County, MLK Jr. To my racially-enlightened self, the color really doesn't matter, but some need to be shown the possibilities before they can accept them. color doesn't matter to me either, but you are right they need to be shown that they can be intelligent and productive and then they will accept it... AND UNTIL YOU'VE FELT RACISM...YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IT! you can be the most loving caring, socially accepting individual, who knows no color and see no lines...and there will still be ONE stupid fuck who is as ignorant as individuals 40 to a 1000 years ago.... the intelligence quotient of the entire population must change first |

![]() There you go, looking only with your eyes again. You assume that just because I'm white that I've never been subjected to bigotry and oppression. Hate transcends far beyond color. Quote:
