watching the news last night, they were talking about all the overseas voters. They are holding ralliues in england and china. Trying to get every american overseas to register so they can send in their vote.

Do you think they have enough to swing the election one way or another?

last election they reported about 35% of ppl overseas voted, and everyone they interveiwed said they would be sure to vote because of what happened in Florida

I'm not sure which way it would sway the vote, but based upon the 2000 election, any small number could change the outcome. If they're talking about military votes, then that would benefit Bush. However, I would assume most ex-pats living abroad are pretty liberal, at least from my experience traveling and living overseas.

they were talking about just normal americans abroad, no military. They were saying that the election this year couple be more deoendent on them, the the swing states.

They were showing both kerry and bush rallies

not sure on the number of ppl they said, it was either 6,000 ppl living abroud or 6 million, but the 6 million sounds a little high to me

It's definitely not 6,000. There are American companies that have more than 6,000 American employees working abroad. 6 million sounds about right.

considering Mtv has been running their ads 20 million loud, where they state that only 15 million ppl votes in the lat election, 6 mil ppl abroad would be enough to "rock the vote" I think

If they said that, they are lying. There were a total of 105,405,100 votes cast in the 2000 election.

your right, I believe the ad talks about ppl between the ages of like 18-35
