I just heard an interview of a man who grew up in Palestine and he was telling his audience how the muslim world subjects their children to modern-nazi style thought. Very intresting. He was brought up under the PLO and was mentioning the brainwashing methods and lies that the PLO taught their students.

He had mentioned that the number one song last year in Egypt was from a girl's whos song was named 'I hate Israel'.

Also, this brings up something that I watched on HBO last Saturday called 'Death in the West Bank'. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was a promotional video for the PLO. They skirted the issue of how these kids are brought up to hate Israel under any circumstance, but the whole show was about the Israeli military killing the Palestinians.

Why would anyone release such a film, if they're unable to tell us what the PLO teaches their children?

It's as if the producer of the film made sure that it was hidden.

Don't you find it odd that Israel has been written up by the UN over 250 times, when the arab neighbors that act like they do have never been written up?

Why does the media around the world ignore the fact that these countries spew such hatred and anti-semitic propoganda? It's well known that if some catastrophe happens in any of these countries, they all blame Israel immediately.

It's not unbelievable at all, unfortunately. Even in "Westernized" Islamic countries like Jordan, they are taught mistrust for Jews in public education. And of course, in places like Saudi Arabia, the situation is much worse. This is also reciprocated in Israel where children are raised with a general mistrust and dislike for Arabs, Muslims, and especially Palestinians. So, what do we do about it? Nothing we have done in the last 50 years has changed the situation, so where do we go now?

bfp, how many Israelis and Arabs who were born and raised in the Middle East do you personally know? What is your personal experience on the subject? How much time have you actually spent in that part of the world?

No, I haven't been over there. Does that mean that my opinion doesn't hold water? Does Israel preach bold faced lies on television about the Palestinians? Do they release songs preaching the death of Palestine? So, you have no idea what you're talking about except for what you've been taught by the media. I just wanted to clear that up.

Anyway, Israelis are indeed taught to hate Arabs and Muslims from a very young age. The history they are taught in public schools is full of lies, their media is thoroughly censored from the truth about what their government does, and their culture is wrought with general disdain for non-Jewish Semitic people of all races and religions. If you think they are not full to the brim with seething hatred for their Middle Eastern neighbors, then you really ought to make friends with some people from the region who can give you a bit of perspective. I will never forget the countless hours of conversation I have had with my many Israeli friends where Arabs were spoken of as "roaches" and "pondscum" who were "inherently evil." I could go on and on and on...

The fact is, neither side is even remotely innocent. With few exceptions, the inhabitants of the Middle East would like to see their foes exterminated. You really should take a trip or just find some people who actually can provide you some real perspective instead of relying on biased media propaganda. I can guarantee you'd be shock to know the truth.

I am amazed at the fact that you can continue to call my sources propoganda. I should take your word and your word only, because you know people. Please.. I have read and heard many interviews from people that used to live in Palestine, and have escaped. What I just gave you, the website, is someone who grew up in the PLO and understands what the palestinian people go through. Yasser Arafat forces women to give up their children so they can be brainwashed in camps so they can go blow up innocent people in cafes and resteraunts.

The site I just gave you is run by someone who grew up being brainwashed by the evils of the arab world. It's not propoganda mate. It's full of what you call 'real perspective'. And this isn't the only source I have run up on that comes up with 'the same information'.

Yes, im sure that some of the Israelis have a view of these people, mainly because of the militiants that come from Palestine to blow up their resteraunts and buisnesses. Im sure there are people over there that are sick of it, yes?

Surely the Israelies have a lot of blood on their hands. However, the conflict to them is mostly political imo. (I support that by noting the lack of Jewish calls for the extinction of Islam and Muslims - the reverse cannot be said). The Islamacists have elevated it to a cultural crusade. Islamic culture refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist. Israel is willing to trade land for peace. While each side must accept blame the culture of hate is more embedded and reinforced in one side than in the other.
