First, she told a reporter to "shove it." Then, she called opponents of Kerry's healthcare plan "idiots." And now, she calls he critics "scumbags." Now I know some of you call this "elitist" (which, let's face it, is because you don't like her current party affiliation), but I call it "real." She should keep her cool for her husband's sake, but I think it's a breath of fresh air to have some - anyone - in the Washington spotlight who doesn't speak in rehersed phrases.

It's not constructive, it fires people up into an angry mob and what gets accomplished? More people finger pointing, instigating needless shit... what value is received from this? A Romanesque desire for senseless drama?

We moved away from working together collectively to "get the job done", to selfish individualists skirting the issues and shifting the blame....

I want to see more accountability and more people taking ownership and responsibility over problems than saying, yea... well, these guys are fucking idiots... look at this problem... that's why you should listen to us...

yes yes... but are you going to take ownership of the problem? or just carry on shirking responsibility like the others, because maybe its a problem that requires one to get a lil dirty to fix it...

We are governed by people who carefully choose every word before it comes out of their mouth. You can practically see the puppet strings over GW's head when he speaks, or the thoughtful estimates of crowd reaction by John Kerry before he says a sentence. The fact is, the reporter who questioned her was being an asshole, many of Kerry's critics are "idiots" and all of the people trying to tear this woman apart because they don't like her husband's party are "scumbags." I'm glad she said it. We need more people with nuts running the show, not less.

The overly cautious nature of people in the Bush Administration is still skirting responsibility in my eyes... There's a medium that needs to be achieved that can be both diplomatic and responsible to the needs of the nation... It seems like people fail to see their potential and so sneak around to get whatever they can get while the opportunity is there... I guess I'm just daydreaming....
