I'm frankly a bit tired of rehashing the same arguments, so I thought we might at least try a different angle. There's plenty of discussion about the coalition's military/social mistakes in Iraq. How about mistakes on the side of the Iraqi(and/or foreign nationals) opposition? Anyone care to comment on what they might try that is more effective than their current actions?

Yea... be peaceful... wait for coalition forces to withdrawal and while you're there... get your faction members hired helping out the coalition and the new government. learn the infrastructure and any intelligence you can gather. try and get members of your faction elected, etc... when the coalition forces withdrawal, use whatever intelligence gathered to start a government coup and overthrow the current government... establish yourself as dictator and establish immediate channels with Iran and Syria, then try to work out talks with Russia... slight problem... you're dealing with various factions, so you'd need to unite as many factions together as possible... maybe see about gathering support from Iran and Syria ahead of time that's the tough part...
