I am requesting prayers and thoughts for a really great friend of mine that was killed in combat on Tuesday in Iraq. Adam Harris was shot once in the head and died instantly. He and I served over in Iraq together. The special thing about Adam was I actually work with his mother and father at my duty station. We met as strangers but became fast friends when we realized we had so much in common. His mom Denise is our base Commander's personal assistant. His step-father (who he calls Dad) is a SMSgt stationed here at Dyess with me. His dad is currently deployed to Iraq as well and we are working on getting him back here. Please keep all of them in your thoughts or prayers.
Adam was due to return home in 23 days.
